That's right Deborah, Dave and the whole gang are in the studio recording 6StQ's first cd.
The sessions are going well. This album will be recorded live with no editing or overdubs.
Dave has put together 10 wonderful compositions for the project and the band has responded by playing the hell out of them.

First Impressions....
Posted by missjonz on 08/04/2005
Where does one start when describing this jazz lovers hideway? Maybe with the jazz? With the food? Or with the atmostsphere?
Alex, I'll take all of the above for a $ 100!
The tea candles provide the mood and with Mark and Chris behind the bar no one leaves thirsty or hungry (ladies bring your straws because Chris the bartender has the drink for you). I recommend a bottle of Vouvray and the Salmon Peppernade (heaven!). I skipped dessert but the sounds of The 6th Street Quaternion were just as sweet. Before you leave make sure you grab a calender, you'll need it to make plans for your next visit.
Chris' is the perfect marriage between a swanky jazz club and a laid back musicians loft. I am extremely impressed with Chris'. After all first impressions are the most important!
